PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily manufacturing the electrode for an electric double layer capacitor in which a substrate is coated with a conductive material with predetermined width and length with no liquid accumulation, and an uncoated part is formed in the length direction.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electrode for an electric double layer capacitor includes a coating part formation step for transferring a conductive paint 112 to an aluminum foil 111 via an upper print roll 101, by rotating the upper print roll 101 in the direction of arrow A while running the aluminum foil 111 in the direction of arrow C, and an uncoated part formation step for forming an uncoated part on the aluminum foil by stopping rotation of the upper print roll 101 for a predetermined time while running the aluminum foil 111 continuously in the direction of arrow C, after performing the transfer of the conductive paint 112 to the aluminum foil 111 for a predetermined time, thereby stopping supply of the conductive paint 112 to the aluminum foil 111. |
