PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnifying endoscope which makes a diameter of a tip of a flexible pile small and which can accurately detect a lens position.SOLUTION: A magnifying endoscope includes a flexible pipe of an insertion part, which has a coil 52 concentrically provided at a tip thereof. The tip of the flexible pipe comprises a lens 48 which is displaced along the axis of the coil 52 to perform a zooming operation. The tip of the flexible pipe also comprises a magnet 38 which displaces the inside of the coil by interlocking with the lens 48. An operation portion of the magnifying endoscope comprises a pulse detection portion which detects a pulse generated in the coil 52 by displacement of the lens 48. |
