PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection device that can quickly operate a recording operation and a maintenance operation in a simpler configuration and short time during which a recording operation cannot be operated as much as possible.SOLUTION: A liquid injection device includes: a liquid injection head; a medium supporting part that supports a medium conveyed in a position opposed to the liquid injection head and rotates around an axis crossing a conveyance direction of the medium; and a maintenance device where a plane receiving liquid injected from the liquid injection head when the medium supporting head is rotated around the axis is disposed in a position opposed to the liquid injection head. While the medium is not in a position opposed to the liquid injection head, the medium supporting part is rotated, and while the plane of the maintenance device and the plane are opposed, the maintenance operation of the liquid injection head is performed. The plane receiving the liquid in the maintenance operation is movable in a direction crossing in the conveyance direction. |
