PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement device capable of performing a series of operations smoothly in a ground improvement method in which a hole is formed in a soft ground and crushed stone and a pile are buried in the hole.SOLUTION: In a ground improvement device 10 comprising travelling means 12, a leader mast 29 and a hopper 16, two sliders 31 and 36 are incorporated in one leader mast 29, and a screw drill 41 is attached to one slider 31 while a rolling compaction tool 51 is attached to the other slider 36, and crushed stone B is housed in the hopper 16. This can perform formation of a hole H and drop of crushed stone B by the screw drill 41, and tamping of crushed stone B by the rolling compaction tool 51 continuously, reducing the time and costs taken in ground improvement. The leader mast 29 can lodge and cause no trouble in transportation. A turning wheel 11 installed between the travelling means 12 and a body 13 facilitates switching operation at the time of dropping crushed stone B after the formation of the hole H. |
