This terminal device which is used in generation of a stereoscopic image has: image capture means; communication means which receives a first image in a first angle of view from an external terminal device; and assessment means which assesses the relationship of photographing ranges between the first image received by the communication means, and a second image of a second angle of view wider than the first angle of view which has been captured by the image capture means.
