The ammunition (1) has projectile structure (4) that is provided with active agent (7) and bullet tail (5) is provided with steering unit. A tail shaft (9) has front shank end (9a) that is provided with actuator (10), and rear shank end (9b) is provided with stabilizer (11). A support (8) is provided to support the front shank end of the tail shaft, so that entire tail shaft bends in direction of the projectile axis (2). The bullet tail has control unit (12) that produces control signal for controlling the actuator based on determined spatial position and trajectory of ammunition. An independent claim is included for a method for steering of ammunition.
