The system has right and left side structures (18), where each structure comprises an arched house (30) to support a folding roof, where the folding roof is moved between a closing position and an opening position from top of a passenger compartment of a vehicle. A transverse framework device (50) is connected to the side structures that are equipped with a back cross-piece (52) and a front cross-piece (53) connecting the side structures to lower ends of the arched house over the top of a back compartment (24).
