PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving assistance system for arousing attention by generating a sensible alarm corresponding to an awakening degree of a driver and the surrounding environment of one's own vehicle. SOLUTION: When surrounding vehicle information that is the information of the other vehicle around the one's own vehicle is detected, and also the awakening degree of the driver of the one's own vehicle is detected to set a risk level of the one's own vehicle based on the surrounding vehicle information and the awakening degree. Besides, sensible alarm generating means 35, 41, 47 generating the sensible alarm by applying stimulus recognizable to a driver with tactile sense are provided, thus generating the sensible alarm corresponding to the preset risk level, and arousing attention corresponding to the awakening degree and the surrounding environment of the one's own vehicle.
