PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt composition which can be used at a lower temperature in comparison with a conventional molten salt, and to provide applications of the same. SOLUTION: The molten salt composition containing two or more kinds of molten salts MFSI in each of which FSI (bisfluorosulfonyl imide) is used as an anion and an alkali metal M is used as a cation can be used at a lower temperature in comparison with a conventional molten salt.
