PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nesting apparatus for performing transposition in an arrangement direction of cut-off components to improve yield even when performing processing to fix a position of a plate material holding tool of a plate material conveying device in nesting. SOLUTION: An information added component data generation means 6 generates basic direction information added component data D2a to which the positions of plate material holding tools 35 for a figure G of a component M are assigned in a basic direction and transposition direction information added component data D2b to which the positions of the tools 35 for a figure G' of an angle-changed component are assigned for one piece of component shape data D1.
