<p>The invention relates to an apportioning device (1) for apportioning ground or cut tobacco material, having at least one portion holder, which can be moved from a filling position (8), at which the portion holder can be filled with a portion of the tobacco material, to a discharging position (9), at which the portion holder can be emptied. The invention also relates to a corresponding machine in the tobacco-processing industry and to a corresponding use and a method for apportioning ground or cut tobacco material. The apportioning device (1) according to the invention comprises a hollowed drum (2) and an enveloping body (11), wherein the hollowed drum (2) is designed for rotation about an axis of rotation (3) and has a frustoconical lateral surface (4) with at least one hollow (5 - 5IV), which is arranged on the lateral surface (4) and is intended as a portion holder, wherein the enveloping body (11) has an inner surface which complements the lateral surface (4) of the hollowed drum (2) and closes off the frustoconical lateral surface (4) of the hollowed drum (2) with sealing action at least in part over the surface area, wherein the enveloping body (11), at the filling position (8), has an opening (12) through which a hollow (5 - 5IV), which can be moved beneath this opening, can be filled with tobacco material along at least part of its length, or along its entire length, wherein the hollow (5 - 5IV) can be moved out of the filling position (8) into the discharging position (9) by rotation (7) of the hollowed drum (2) in the enveloping body (11).</p> |
