<p>A method for resource allocation and a device are disclosed by the present invention, relating to the field of communications technologies, and used for increasing the utilization rate of air interface resources. The method for resource allocation according to embodiments of the present invention includes: calculating a mean value of lengths of at least two compressed packets, where the compressed packets are obtained by performing header compression on original packets; and allocating resources according to the mean value. The solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention are applicable to the allocation of air interface resources during resource allocation.</p> |
