PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to increase washing efficiency by recessed parts because laundry rubs against the side having the recessed parts positioned in a washing tub. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a water tub, a washing tub (20), a driving device, multiple recessed parts, and multiple connecting holes. The washing tub is arranged inside the tank. The driving device rotates the washing tub. The recessed parts are recessed in a polypyramid shape from one side of the inner and outer surfaces of the washing tub to the other side. The connecting holes are arranged to discharge water. The recessed parts include polygon-shaped polygonal sides and multiple sides respectively extended from the edges of the polygonal sides and meeting at the vertex of the recessed parts. The connecting holes are formed on at least one side of the sides forming the polygonal sides. |
