<p>A solenoid valve comprising a valve body (2) that has a conduit (21) for communication between an inlet (22) and an outlet (23). A first valve seat (24) and a closure member (32) cooperating with said valve seat are provided in the communication conduit (21). A coil (4) is further provided for generating a magnetic field for translation of a plunger (3) of the coil, which plunger (3) is slideably held within an axial housing, whereas elastic means (13) are provided between said plunger and a stationary abutment wall. Said plunger (3) is connected with drive members for transferring the motion thereof to the closure member (32), which members include a stem. The stem has a radial enlargement, whose side facing toward the closure member has a such surface area exposed to the pressure of inflowing fluid, as to counterbalance the action of fluid pressure exerted on the fluid- exposed surface of the closure member.</p> |
