<p>The vertical axis wind turbine comprises a generator member (2) arranged at the top of a support structure (3) and suitable to convert a rotational motion in electric energy, a rotor assembly (4) with vertical rotation axis, connected to the generator member (2) and comprising a plurality of vanes (6) suitable to be linked to the generator member (2) through a plurality of substantially horizontal support means (5), a plurality of interconnection means (8) between various vanes (6), suitable to connect each one of said vanes (6) to adjacent vanes to ensure the stability of said plurality of vanes (6) in rotation.</p> |
