<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect live-line tool capable of reducing manpower and time in work such as maintaining electric wires to improve work efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A round gear member 125 is fixed to a position facing the end of the insulating operation rod 110 of a head 120. The end of the insulating operation rod 110 is mounted with a lock mechanism 113 in a position facing the round gear member 125. An operation mechanism 114 with which a user performs locking or unlocking operations by the lock mechanism 113 at hand is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the insulating operation rod 110. When a rod 115 is pressed and moved toward the head 120, the latching nails 131 of the lock mechanism 113 moves toward the head 120 to be in a locked state. In the locked state, the latching nails 131 are latched together by the teeth of the round gear member 125 to suppress rotation of the insulating operation rod 110. Therefore, a user can perform locking and unlocking operations by the operation mechanism 114 without using other indirect live-line tools. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
