PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator with a cold storage function, being easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: The evaporator with the cold storage function includes: a pair of tanks 2, 3 having refrigerant headers 7, 14 and cold storage medium headers 8, 15; and a flat hollow body 4 arranged between both tanks 2, 3, and having a refrigerant flowing pipe 23 and a cold storage medium filling pipe 24. The flat hollow body 4 is formed by arranging and laminating a first pipe formation metal plate 25 with a first outwardly swelling part 26 and a second pipe formation metal plate 27 with a second outwardly swelling part 28 and interposing a partition plate 29 between the metal plates 25, 27. The refrigerant flowing pipe 23 is formed by the first outwardly swelling part 26 of the first pipe formation metal plate 25 of the flat hollow body 4 and the partition plate 29, and the cold storage medium filling pipe 24 is formed by the second outwardly swelling part 28 of the second pipe formation metal plate 27 and the partition plate 29. The refrigerant flowing pipe 23 of the flat hollow body 4 is connected to the refrigerant headers 7, 14, and the cold storage medium filling pipe 24 is connected to the cold storage medium headers 8, 15.
