<p>The device has a shop scale (11) comprising a combined input and/or output unit that is designed in the form of a touch screen (13) and a customer display (15). The scale has a weighing cell for determining weight of goods, and a processor unit displays the weight and price of the goods to the touch screen and the display. The scale has a storage area for storing a data set (25) that determines an allocation of digital data contents for identifying the goods. The scale reads the data contents from a local data base (23) based on the data set and outputs the read data contents in the display.</p> |
