<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which prevents the roughness of a print, can obtain a high-concentration image by exhibiting the high receptive capacity of a dye, can obtain a printed matter extreamely excellent in light resistance, and does not occur appearance failure in the printed matter due to photofading. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiving sheet includes a dye receptive layer on one surface of a base sheet, wherein the dye receptive layer contains a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer and silica particles or surface treated silica particles surface-treated with methyl. The silica particles or the surface treated silica particles have 5-300 μm volume average particle diameter and the content of the silica particles or the surface treated silica particles in the dye receptive layer is 1-15 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
