<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a search result is displayed so that a print-permitted content and an unpermitted content are intermingled, a user who wants to print cannot determine immediately which content is permitted for printing. <P>SOLUTION: A server 103 searches content associated with a retrieval request including a query keyword sent from a client 101, and sends it to the client 101 the query keyword together with attribute information on the retrieved content.
