<p>The invention relates to a colloidal aminotriazine-aldehyde condensate having a aminotriazine : aldehyde ratio in a range between 1 :1.3 and 1 : 2, preferably 1 : 1,8, most preferably 1 : 1,7, comprising at least one acid, and having an average particle diameter of said condensate of less than 100 nm, preferably less than 80 nm, most preferably less than 50 nm. The invention relates further to the use of said condensate as aldehyde scavenger and curing agent, in particular in resins and wood based panels and methods for obtaining the same.</p> |
