PURPOSE: A tidal power plant structure with four basins is provided to regularly generate power using pumped water pumped by a water turbine whenever excess power is produced. CONSTITUTION: A tidal power plant structure with four basins comprises a first water reservoir (131), a second water reservoir (132), a third water reservoir (133), and a pumped water reservoir (134). The first water reservoir borders to open sea (130) and is made of a first breakwater having first power plants (136), pumping-up power plants (136a), a lock gate (142), and an auxiliary lock gate (143). The second water reservoir borders to the open sea and is made of a second breakwater having second power plants (137), a lock gate, and an auxiliary lock gate and a second embankment having fourth power plants. The third water reservoir borders to the open sea and is made of a third breakwater having third power plants (138), a lock gate, and an auxiliary lock gate and a third embankment having fifth power plants. The pumped water reservoir is connected to the pumping-up power plants by a pumped waterway and is made of an embankment having pumping-up power plants (141). |
