A sub channel constitution for transmitting contents to a mobile terminal stand-by screen without the load of the mobile terminal, and a sub contents transmission method and a server therefore are provided to reduce the load of the mobile terminal according to unnecessary contents transmission by previously composing the sub channel when creating a channel in which the content control server accommodates a plurality of contents. A DCD server transmits channel meta data including information about a plurality of sub channels to a DCD client inside a mobile terminal of a user. The DCD server informs the DCD client of the existing of the sub channel(S302). The DCD server informs the DCD client has the sub channel for being received. The DCD server transmits the sub contents received to the DCD client from the DCD client(S304). |
