PURPOSE: A method for decomposing a waste secondary battery separator film into paraffin oil and polyethylene is provided to prevent environmental contamination in advance by preventing the incineration of waste separator films. CONSTITUTION: A method for decomposing a waste secondary battery separator film into paraffin oil and polyethylene comprises a step of extracting paraffin oil (S10) from the waste secondary battery separator film by the reaction of a powder catalyst that a precious metal is mounted to a zeolite in a state that the waste secondary battery separator film formed of polyethylene in which paraffin oil is impregnated is soaked in a paraffin oil bath; and a step of removing the paraffin oil remaining on the surface of the waste secondary battery separator film by jetting a cleaning liquid to the waste secondary battery separator film from which the paraffin oil is separated.
