<p>PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce the consumption of power for driving a data signal, thereby preventing image quality deterioration caused by leakage currents. CONSTITUTION: A display device (100) includes a plurality of pixels (PX). Each of the pixels stores a voltage level corresponding to a data signal, and includes a storage capacitor. The storage capacitor is connected between a pixel electrode and a second common voltage electrode. The display device determines whether the image data of a current frame is changed from the image data of a previous frame. If so, a voltage level corresponding to the image data of the current frame is stored in the storage capacitor of each pixel. If not so, the level of second common voltage applied to the second common voltage electrode of each pixel is changed.
