FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry, in particular to machines for post-harvesting treatment of tuberous roots. The device for dry cleaning of tuberous roots comprises placed between the receiving hopper (1) and the discharging tray (2) horizontal rows of rotating working elements, made in the form of cylindrical brushes (3). The cylindrical brushes (3) are mounted to overlap the villi of adjacent cylindrical brushes (3) above which from the receiving hopper (1) an elastic spring-loaded web (4) is mounted. The plane passing through the axes of the rotating cylindrical brushes (3) forms with the horizontal plane an acute angle of elevation from the receiving hopper (1) behind which the direction of movement of treated tuberous roots the metering device (5) is rigidly fixed. The novelty of the invention is that the metering device (5) is made in the form of an elastic web which width equals the length of the cylindrical brush (3).EFFECT: increased efficiency of dry cleaning of tuberous roots and simplification of the device construction.1 cl, 1 dwg
