FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: contact sensor comprises a support element and exciting and measurement electrodes installed on it. Electrodes are installed along a generatrix of the support element in pairs so that the average distance between surfaces of electrodes in pairs is below the average distance between neighbouring pairs. Each measurement electrode is equipped with an additional electrically linked and adjacent electrode, forming an additional pair with another additional electrode. Average distances between surfaces of electrodes in two or more pairs differ from each other. The sensor is equipped with a comparison device, which generates a signal depending on variation of the ratio of values of specific electric conductivity, measured in interelectrode gaps of the specified pairs. The support element may be arranged, in particular, in the form of a pipe or a rod. In the first case electrodes are installed on the inner surface of the support element, in the second case - on its side surface. In both cases electrodes may be made, for instance, in the form of plates or rings. The invention provides for the possibility to realise assessment of sensor error directly in process of operation, which is specified by action of different factors, including contamination of electrodes, availability of gas bubbles in the liquid, variation of cell geometry.EFFECT: possibility to correct the measurement result and its higher validity in case of operation of many years without maintenance.5 dwg |
