A device for producing consolidated powder materials comprises a die with punches, which is mounted in a sealed chamber formed by upper and lower half-chambers, two current-carrying plates with electrically conductive inserts that are made with channels for a cooling fluid and positioned above (lower plates) and below (upper plates) the die, a power source of current-carrying plates, an electric-discharge generator of elastic vibrations made in the form of a discharge chamber filled with liquid with positive and negative electrodes that are connected to the generator of pulsed currents, and has a piston mounted for movement along the axis of the device, on which the lower current-carrying plate is mounted. Thus as a power supply of current-carrying plates the generator of pulsed currents is used and the positive electrode of electric discharge generator of elastic vibrations is installed coaxially with the piston, which is the negative electrode. |
