PURPOSE: An injector for a direct injection type diesel engine is provided to spray fuel into a cylinder at a higher pressure than a pressure fed from a high-pressure pump by controlling a pressure intensifying part with an actuator. CONSTITUTION: An injector for a direct injection type diesel engine comprises a housing (10), a pressure intensifying part (20), a driving part (30), and a spraying part (40). An installation space is arranged inside the housing. The pressure intensifying part is installed in the installation space of the housing and intensifies the pressure of fuel by pressurizing the fuel fed from a high-pressure pump. The driving part lifts a piston (21) arranged in the pressure intensifying part. The spraying part sprays the pressure-intensified fuel into a cylinder.
