<p>PURPOSE: A stainless pipe manufacturing apparatus is provided to prevent oxidation on the surface of a pipe and improve corrosion resistance by rapidly cooling a stainless pipe heat-treated in an inert gas atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: A stainless pipe manufacturing apparatus comprises an induction heating unit(100), a rapid cooling unit(200), and a gas spray unit(300). The induction heating unit is provided with external high-frequency current and inductively heats a stainless pipe(220) moved therein. The rapid cooling unit is connected to the induction heating unit and cools the heated stainless pipe with a water-cooling passage surrounding the stainless pipe. The gas spray unit is installed in the rapid cooling unit and sprays inert gas to the heated stainless pipe.</p> |
