<p>PURPOSE: A fluorescent material is provided to have a highquantum efficiency and to provide a strong luminous intensity by inducing a luminescent central element in a specific oxynitride fluorescent material in which the crystalline structure and composition are all restricted. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent material is represented by Chemical formula (1): (M_(1-x)EC_x)_aSi_bAlO_cN_d. The average particle diameter is a range of 20-30 micron. The fluorescent material is a crystal form with the aspect ratio of 3-4 range. The fluorescent material radiates light having a peak in a range of 580-660 nm wavelength when the material is excited with light of 250-500 nm wavelength range. In Chemical formula (1), M is Sr; EC is Eu; x, a, b, c and d are, respectively, numbers satisfying the condition of 0<x<0.4, 0.55<a<0.80, 2<b<3, 0<c<=0.6 and 4<d<5.</p> |
