PURPOSE: A synthetic gas generation apparatus and a method thereof are provided to maximize the synthesis gas yield, and to remarkably reduce the initial construction costs and maintenance costs. CONSTITUTION: A low temperature pyrolysis furnace (200) firstly pyrolyze organic waste at 270-450°C to contain less than 18% of moisture and oil, a cooling furnace (300) cools carbide to a low temperature (less than 50°C). An assorter (400) assorting discharged products into metal and organic carbide. A pulverizer (500) pulverizes the carbide into powder. A heat-exchanger (600) heat-exchanges high temperature gas from an outlet of a synthetic gasification reaction furnace. A refrigerator (700) secondly cools firstly cooled gas. A steam separator (800) removes impurities including nitrogen oxide or sulfur oxide from the secondly cooled gas. A synthetic gas storage tank (900) stores the gas.
