APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NITROGEN WASTEWATER TREATMENT

PURPOSE: A nitrogen wastewater treatment facility and a method thereof increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in wastewater because a physical treatment removes ammonia when treating synthesis wastewater containing dissolved organic matters and amines, conspicuously improving the reduction efficiency of BOD and COD in a follow-up biological treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method of treating nitrogen wastewater comprises the step of: converting amines in synthesis wastewater containing dissolved organic matters and amines into ammonia by using microorganism in a first biological wastewater treatment tub (1); performing aeration of the wastewater containing ammonia in a aeration tank (2) to physically vaporize ammonia only, and discharging the ammonia; and removing the dissolved organic matters in the remained wastewater after discharging ammonia by using microorganism in a second biological wastewater treatment tub (3).
