PURPOSE: A system for sharing information on items for sale using a communication network is provided to induce brokers to actively register information on items for sale that he/she knows and allow the brokers to easily manage friend relation with other brokers. CONSTITUTION: A database stores a friend relation of each broker and information on items for sale entered by each broker (S211). A friend relation setting unit allows each broker to set the friend relation with another broker and stores the set friend relation in the database (S212). An item information registering unit receives item information specifying an item for sale from each broker and stores the item information in the database (S213). An item information providing unit provides the item information and register information to each broker, which is registered by brokers who are in the friend relation with her/him (S214). If there exists the same item among the items registered by the brokers who are in the friend relation with her/him, the item information providing unit provides only item information that is registered first.
