The present invention provides a method intended to represent music in colour, which results from the construction of a tempered scale over a range of colours with the same formula used to build said scale in music. The twelve selected frequencies are compared to the twelve notes. Software is used for encoding music which may consist in pieces for 1, 2, 3, or more voices and obtaining the representation thereof in colour.
