PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of high-reactive calcium hydroxide powder with high specific surface area is provided to produce high-reactive calcium hydroxide powder with high specific surface area and small pore sizes by using citric acid and diethylene glycol by mixture whine a fixed ratio without the influence of the quick lime firing. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of high-reactive calcium hydroxide powder with high specific surface area comprises the steps of: adding 40-120 parts by weigh of water, 0.2-1 parts by weight of citric acid and 0.5-3 parts by weight of diethylene glycol based on 100 parts by weight of quicklime to dissolve the mixture and producing calcium hydroxide by performing hydration reaction for 30-80mins in a hydration reactor after completing the previous step. The calcium hydroxide is pulverized by using the Raymond mill or the ball mill to the grind size of 325-500 mesh for controlling the grind size.
