Provided as a novel industrial product is a process that uses ceramic inks for obtaining colourful images, with a resolution similar to that of colour or black and white photographs with the same characteristics and resistant of vitreous finishes; the process achieves an image with a resolution of more than 133 lines per inch by the application of four inks preferably for photographic images, which are Blue Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The process also allows images of a higher resolution to be applied with no limits in the format size, i.e., the images may be larger than those achieved by the sticker system with paper transference and with a higher number of lines per output inch.
