PURPOSE: A device for supplying gas to an annealing furnace is provided to constantly maintain the pressure inside the annealing furnace when cutting off power, to improve annealing quality, and to improve safety by blocking oxygen in the air permeated from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A device for supplying gas to an annealing furnace comprises a support stand(55), a plate(78), an opening and closing member, a tension spring(50), and a cap(40). The plate is inserted to a rotary shaft, is adhered to the outer wall of the annealing furnace, and forms an opening part supplying the gas to the annealing furnace. The tension spring closes the opening part with the opening and closing member during the non-rotating state of a hearth roll. The cap surrounds the support stand and prevents the gas from leaking by being fixed to the outer wall of the annealing furnace. |
