A MAKING METHOD OF RED CLAY AND CHARCOAL MAT

PURPOSE: A manufacturing of a red clay charcoal mat is provided to obtain a radiation effect of far infrared rays, a deodorization effect, and an air cleaning effect etc. by crossly arranging cylinder charcoal on a red clay layer and to lovely maintain the appearance of a mat by expressing the intrinsic grain of wood shown on a cross section of the charcoal well. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing of a red clay charcoal mat comprises following steps. A decorative member (10) is formed by cylindrically cutting charcoal and an edge member (11) is molded by cutting the charcoal into a rectangular shape. A hard supporting plate (12) is stuck and attached to the bottom surface of the decorative member and the edge member. A red clay layer (21) is formed by spreading red clay dough on the inner floor of a rectangular frame. The decorative member is crossly arranged inside the rectangular frame and fixes to the red clay layer and the edge member is continuously set up on the inner periphery of the rectangular frame and the decorative member is arranged inside the edge member. The red clay dough is inserted into the inner side of the edge member and a gap between decorative members is filled with a red clay member (20). The decorative member and the edge member are integrally hardened with red clay member by curing a red clay layer and the red clay member and the rectangular frame is separated. An aqueous coating agent is spread on the outer side of the red clay member which is integrally hardened with the decorative member and the edge member and the aqueous coating agent is hardened and a coating film is formed. A mat is completed by attaching a heating element (40) to the lower side of the red clay member.
