PURPOSE: A resin composition for an environment-friendly wire is provided to satisfy an excellent flexibility, abrasion resistance, flame retardancy, cold resistance and heat resistance, and to include no halogen resin, halogen flame retardant causing environmental problems. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for a wire includes a base resin which is a mixture of polyethylene resin, polyolefin elastomer resin and maleic anhydride-grafted modified polyolefin resin. The content of polyethylene resin is 10-50 parts by weight, the content of the polyolefin elastomer resin is 20-80 parts by weight, and the content of the maleic anhydride-grafted modified polyolefin resin is 10-30 parts by weight, based on 100.0 parts by weight of the base resin. A wire comprises a conductor, and an insulating coating substance which is manufactured from the resin composition for wire and coated on the conductor. |
