PURPOSE: A device and method for separating a pump of a natural gas supply system are provided to prevent the damage to a reciprocal pump and a connection unit from freezing by supplying high temperature inactive gas to the connection unit. CONSTITUTION: A device for separating a pump of a natural gas supply system is installed in an offshore structure. Inactive gas is supplied between a discharge unit and a driving unit so that the discharge unit is separated from the driving unit. The discharge unit discharges natural gas by compressing. The driving unit drives the discharge unit. The device for separating the pump comprises an inactive gas supply line. The inactive gas supply line supplies the inactive gas between the discharge unit and the driving unit. |
