<p>PURPOSE: A path guide apparatus for indoor pedestrians and a method thereof are provided to display a current location on a user terminal indoors and to correct the current location using the geomagnetic field and the acceleration sensor of the user terminal while displaying the movement of the user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A movement value setting module (14) sets a movement value by estimating a distance that a user terminal moves between a first location and a second location which are to be measured by a measurement module (11) for one cycle. A movement coefficient correction module (15) compares the movement value which is set by the movement value setting module with the second location value of the user terminal which is obtained by the measurement module. If a difference between two values is beyond a given margin of error, the movement coefficient correction module corrects a movement coefficient. The movement coefficient correction module calculates a movement value using the corrected movement coefficient. A control module (17) manages processes related to a path guide service for indoor pedestrians.
