PURPOSE: A general-purpose mobile gift certificate management system is provided to increase the sales of a general-purpose mobile gift certificate, to guide a user to flexibly use a mobile gift certificate within a specified period, and to be utilized in promoting a company and a user. The general-purpose mobile gift certificate management system provides the convenience of setting a general-purpose mobile gift certificate to be used at various places and also at a specific place, thereby enabling a user to use the mobile gift certificate within a self-specified range by being free from the existing uniform expiration date and cash charging provided by gift certificate operating companies. CONSTITUTION: A general-purpose gift certificate management server (100) sets an expiration date on a general-purpose gift certificate sold through a home page, specifies the status of cash charging, and transmits a coupon corresponding to a general-purpose gift certificate as a message to a provided mobile terminal when the general-purpose gift certificate is ordered. The mobile terminal receives the message transmitted from the general-purpose gift certificate management server and outputs a coupon image on the screen.
