The device (1) has a liquid product tank (4) comprising a frame (6) supporting rollers (7) that define a reception surface of a surface treatment utensil (2). The rollers move in rotation around an axis and in translation between high and low positions in which utensil on the surface is located out of liquid product (5) and partially immersed in the product. The frame has a housing to allow horizontal translation displacement of the utensil relative to the rollers, so that the utensil is dried by the rollers in the high position and uniformly impregnated with the product in the low position.
