PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to prevent a cylinder bore from being abraded by the reciprocating motion of a piston and from being deformed. CONSTITUTION: A compressor includes a cylinder block and a piston (140). The cylinder block has multiple cylinder bores (111) for compressing a refrigerant. The piston reciprocates inside the cylinder bore in order to compress the refrigerant. Through heat treatment, the hardness (HRB) of the cylinder block is capable of being 54 to 57. Through the heat treatment, the hardness of the cylinder block is capable of being 55 to 56. The heat treatment is implemented at a temperature of 180°C for six to eight hours.
