PURPOSE: A semiconductor device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a floating body phenomenon by applying a body bias to a conductive line to remove a hole charged in a pillar pattern. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pillar patterns are formed on the upper side of a semiconductor substrate (100). Gates (143a) connect the sidewalls of the pillar patterns. Insulation layers (160) are formed between the pillar patterns including the gates. Junction areas (173) are formed on the upper sides of the pillar patterns. Conductive lines (165) are formed on the sidewalls of the pillar patterns between the gates and the junction areas. |
