PURPOSE: A uniform cooling method and system for a wire rod coil are provided to uniformly cool a wire rod coil by blowing cooling air from the upper and lower sides of the wire rod coil. CONSTITUTION: A uniform cooling method for a wire rod coil blows cooling air to the exterior of a hot-rolled wire rod coil(C) from a side blower located outside the wire rod coil while rotating the wire rod coil and, at the same time, blows cooling air from an upper blower and a lower blower(20) located at the upper and lower sides of the wire rod coil in order to form vortex of cooling air in the hollow space of the wire rod coil and thereby uniformly cool the wire rod coil. |
