PURPOSE: An illumination controller using optical communication is provided to implement fast speed by successively connecting the multiple illumination controllers in a multi-drop method through an optical cable. CONSTITUTION: A first light transceiver(11) receives an illumination control signal transmitted from an illumination server as a light signal. The first light transceiver converts the received light signal into an electric signal. A second light receiver(12) receives the illumination control signal as an electric signal and converts the electric signal into a light signal. An illumination driver(16) is electrically connected to one illumination device. The illumination driver turns off and dims the illumination device.
