The crown (1) has a balancing ring (3) assembled against a bottom part (13) of a cap (2) that is arranged coaxial to and outside the ring, where internal diameters of the ring and the cup are approximately equal. A contact interface between the ring and the cup is designed as a radial surface (19) that is interrupted by surface portions i.e. drillings (11), along cylindrical axes. The cylindrical axes are formed parallel to a rotor axis and intersect the bottom part of the cap. A projection (10) is crimped such that a free end (12) of the projection radially exceeds the drillings. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a holding crown of a rotor.
