CONTENT DELIVERY SYSTEM, METHOD FOR NETWORK REDUNDANT TRAFFIC OPTIMIZATION, REDUNDANT MONITORING DEVICE AND LOCAL CACHING DEVICE IN THE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A content delivery system, a redundant traffic optimization method in the system, a central device and a local cashing device are provided to monitor redundant transmission of various contents for reducing traffic in a network. CONSTITUTION: A local cashing device (200) monitors a content packet provided to a destination client and stores divided chunks of the content packet together with chunk identifiers. The local cashing device confirms that there is duplication in the divided chunks and transmits the chunk identifiers and flow information about the duplicated chunks to a central control device. When the local cashing device receives chunk identifiers and flow information about the next content packet from the central control device, the local cashing does not receive the next content packet corresponding the received chunk identifiers and transmits the content packet corresponding to the received chunk identifiers, which the local cashing device has stored, to the destination client.
